THE NATURAL INCLINE

One way or another I'm stuck between a possible and a natural incline. The possibilities are endless but my talents are not. I can be a lawyer, doctor or an accountant if I so choose - but I cannot choose my talents. They choose me. Lawyer, doctor, accountant: The more I try to make myself fit these unfamiliar sizes the more awkward I feel. In the end, happiness seems to depend on the natural inclination of my passions, no matter what splendor of possibilities lie on my horizon. Sometimes the most difficult decision in your life is to choose happiness.

this is very true my dear. Happiness often seems to be against the reality. maybe thats why modern people look a lot more upset than before?

  3. I completely get what you mean right now. People say to me, dont worry grades wont get you happiness if you dont do well. But in my opinion, if i want to go far and get the uni i want and then go on to get a good job then my grades do matter to make me happy.
    Lovely post.

  5. Love the second photo.

And I agree. It is tremendously difficult to choose happiness. And even then it's a continuous battle to remain solid and firm in the decision.

  6. "Sometimes the most difficult decision in your life is to choose happiness." How true it is... Maybe it´s because we are so influenced by the society we live and we want to match the expectations of others. Someone once said: "Unhappiness is best defined as the difference between our talents and our expectations."

  7. oh god...I can so much understand where you´re coming from. I was having that same conversation with a dear friend over skype last night. I keep following my natural inclinations,m because I just can´t help it, but it seems none of them is very prone to generate money..... :P

So simple, but true. You obviously have a talent for writing, I wish I was as expressive and articulate as you!
